The return of All Stars Cricket 2019

Northumberland is getting ready to reach for the stars again this year with the launch of All Stars Cricket at the local Cricket clubs in the area.

Children aged 5-8 will encounter a great first experience of cricket within the eight-week programme, starting in May. It is a great first step for introducing your kids to cricket for the first time. All Stars Cricket is all about engaging children in a game which is fun, safe and an inclusive environment, where parents are encouraged to take part too.

More than 59,000 children took part last year across England and Wales and this year will be even bigger. Parents can visit allstarscricket.co.uk to find out more information and sign their kids up now!

After signing up, boys and girls get a cricket kit delivered to their door with a cricket bat, cricket ball, personalised shirt, backpack, cap and an activity book inside! Returners will also receive a NEW kit bag to progress their development.

All Stars Cricket is available in your local clubs at Tillside CC, Berwick CC and Wooler CC. The first buy ambien online paypal session begins at Berwick CC on May 17th.

In Northumberland, All Stars participants will also receive a Durham Cricket sticker book and a free junior season membership. Durham Cricket are also offering two discounted Vitality Blast memberships for parents, at a reduced price of £20 each, with every All Stars Cricket registration.

The sticker book saw a great success last year, with the initiative being accountable for over half of Durham Cricket junior memberships and Vitality Blast season ticket sales in 2018.

One of the local parents has said that it’s “Awesome for small people having introduction to cricket, not to mention the kits they get before the course and the added extras such as emails with messages from top cricketers and cheap tickets to games. Will be joining in again next year.”

Former England Captain and All Stars Cricket ambassador Michael Vaughan added: “I started playing cricket at my local club and have seen first-hand how important it is to introduce kids to our sport in a fun way.“
