With the ICC Cricket World Cup less than 24 hours away, we caught up with England’s most electrifying batsman Jos Buttler to get his thoughts and predictions ahead of the Tournament. In a quick fire video interview at the premiere of OPPO’s TV advert to launch their global partnership with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Jos discusses key topics such as:

Key players to watch out for in the England camp: “Jason Roy at the top of the order I think is one of the most exciting players in the world and Adil Rashid with the ball, spins it both ways and looks to take wickets”

Players to watch out for in the rest of the world: “Rashid Khan from Afghanistan, in T20 cricket has been one of the best bowlers in the world in franchise tournaments. I’m sure he’s going to have a great tournament and watch out for David Warner, who is back with Australia and has had a great IPL. He’s ready to go.”

Expectations for England: “My expectations for England this summer is that we are going to go all the way”

Teams to watch out for in the World Cup: “The teams to watch out for in the World Cup are West Indies, who have some huge power hitters – Chris Gayle, Andre Russell and also Afghanistan whose bowling attack will upset a few teams

Thoughts on the World Cup being hosted in the UK: “It’s a great time for us as a country and is really exciting for Cricket and gives us an opportunity to really inspire the next generation.”
